In a ceremony held yesterday at the University 'American College' in Skopje in the presence of numerous representatives of the academic and business community, the Ambassador of Italy Andrea Silvestri awarded the Rector of the UACS, Prof. Marjan Bojadjiev, with the title of 'Cavaliere dell'Ordine della Stella d'Italia'. The honour, conferred by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella at the Embassy's proposal, is in recognition of Rector Bojadjiev's significant contribution to strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the academic field, where he was the promoter of the first Double Degree programme in this country, signed in May 2017 with the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", as well as the collaboration programme with the Catholic University of Milan.
