RAI CEO Fabrizio Salini has nominated Giuseppe Carboni to be the new head of the TG1 news service of the State broadcaster's flagship RAI1 channel, sources said Tuesday.
Salini has sent his nominations for top positions to executives ahead of a board meeting on Wednesday, the sources said.
Gennaro Sangiuliano has been nominated to take over RAI2's TG2 news service, with Giuseppina Parteniti nominated for TG3 and Luca Mazzà for RAI's Radio section, according to the sources.
