Italian hauliers will halt their
trucks from April 4 due to high fuel prices, the UNATRAS union
said Wednesday.
They said they could not afford to keep the lorries running and
government measures were "insufficient".
"The sector is in a state of extreme need," said the union.
UNATRAS was speaking after a meeting with Transport Minister
Enrico Giovannini and undersecretary Teresa Bellanova.
