Silvio Berlusconi's middle daughter
Barbara said her father was the most persecuted man in the world
after he was acquitted in the Ruby III witness bribing trial on
Wednesday.
Speaking to ANSA, she said "my father is the most persecuted man
in the world, with 86 trials and more than 4,000 hearings".
She said the trial "is a surreal trial, that should not have
even started.
"A leftover from the first Ruby trial, in which my father had
already been acquitted with the full formula.
"The court today states that the fact does not even exist. As
his daughter I feel a double bitterness: as well as the damage
to his image, not everyone understands how trials strike the
heart and above all the health of the person under
investigation".
