Historic X-Factor judge Morgan has
been ejected from the 2023 edition of the talent show after a
series of histrionics including homophobic jibes, calling his
fellow judge Fedez depressed, calling another judge, Dargen
D'Amico, a sell-out and being caught on camera having a furious
row with the other judge, Ambra Angiolini.
Sky Italia said his contract had been rescinded because of
"repeated inappropriate and incompatible comments" and stressed
that the focus of the show must remain the contestants.
Morgan, 50, whose real name is Marco Castoldi and who has had
hits with the alternative rock band Bluvertigo, reacted by
saying "there is no reason for my exclusion from the show,
clearly they have no culture".
