The hearings at the parliamentary
intelligence services committee COPASIR of National Anti-Mafia
Prosecutor Giovanni Melillo and Perugia Chief Prosecutor
Raffaele Cantone in relation to a case of alleged snooping by a
police officer on politicians and VIPs, will most likely be held
on Thursday, sources said Tuesday, with times still to be
defined.
Both magistrates had asked to be heard by the Committee in
relation to the investigation into alleged dossiers compiled by
a tax police officer against many top politicians, mostly on the
right, and VIPs including rapper Fedez and soccer legend
Cristiano Ronaldo.
