Italian police on Thursday arrested
an alleged budding Islamistic terrorist living in the Brescia
area, sources said.
The suspect, a 46-year-old Italian man with Moroccan roots,
allegedly downloaded jihadist propaganda and instructions for
making homemade weapons.
Investigators seized material including handwritten sheets
messages praising martyrdom and holy war.
The investigation stemmed from monitoring of the Internet by the
postal police.
The suspected was allegedly in WhatsApp groups linked to the
Islamic State.
