Istat said Friday that Italian
consumer confidence and business confidence have both fallen
this month.
The national statistics agency said its consumer index dropped
from 98.8 in February to 95.0 in March.
It said its IESI (Istat Economic Sentiment Indicator)
business-confidence index was down for a second consecutive
month, falling from 94.7 to 93.3.
