Poste Italiane could buy part of
Vivendi's stake in Telecom Italia (TIM) to possibly reach a 25%
threshold under a deal which would make the state-backed
conglomerate the leading investor in the former phone monopoly
replacing the French group, financial news agency Bloomberg
reported on Friday, quoting sources close to the matter.
Poste currently owns a 10% stake in TIM.
Vivendi, according to Bloomberg, would still allegedly maintain
a small share in Telecom Italia under a potential deal.
