It will take a great Inter Milan to
beat Bayern Munich for the first time in four attempts at the
San Siro Wednesday night and qualify for the Champions League
semi-finals, coach Simone Inzaghi said Tuesday.
The Serie A leaders have a 2-1 edge from the first leg in
Germany last week and are hoping to repeat Jose Mourinho's 2010
feat of the treble of scudetto, Italian Cup and UCL title.
"More than tension, there is great pride in how this season is
developing," said ex Lazio boss Inzaghi, whose team have a
three-point lead over champions Napoli in Serie A with six games
to go.
"It will be a very difficult match, we must forget the result
but not the performance in Munich.
"We will need a great game of running and aggression, because it
is a quarter-final and we will face a very strong opponent.
"It will take a great Inter".
The German giants have won their previous three UCL games at
Inter.
