The average price of a house
purchased in Italy last year was 166,395 euros, up 7.8% on the
average of 154,416 euros in 2023, the nation's notaries said in
a report on Wednesday.
The report, which ANSA had a sneak preview of, said the number
of properties to change hands increased by 15.8% last year.
It said there was a 26.8% increase in home transactions between
private individuals and 17.4% rise in purchases involving
businesses.
