Saipem closed the 1st quarter with a
35% jump in net profit to 77 million euros, the Italian oil
engineering group said Wednesday.
Revenues were up 15.5% to 3.52 billion.
The group, which confirmed its estimates for the entire year,
generated 395 million in cash, with an order portfolio up to 33
billion euros, of which 2.1 billion acquired in the first 3
months of the year. Gross operating margin was up 31% to 351
million.
The post-Ifrs net financial position is positive by 116 million,
compared to 23 million at the end of December, and by 968
million pre-Ifrs, compared to 683 million at the end of 2024.
