Everything must be done to avert an
Italy-US trade war, Premier Giorgia Meloni told question time in
the Senate Wednesday.
"We must do everything in pour power to avoid a trade war
between the economies of Italy and the United States," she said.
Meloni also said getting liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the
States was "not a favour to Trump since we were already getting
it under Biden".
The premier also said her government had set relations with
China on "new foundations" and she would shortly travel to the
Indo-Pacific region.
She also said her government would cut energy costs for
businesses.
