Italian telecoms group TIM said
Monday that it has reached an agreement with Apple to make some
of Apple's music and entertainment content available to its
customers.
The deal will make it possible for some of TIM's mobile clients
to have Apple Music included in their services and for TimVision
to have promotions for Apple TV+ entertainment content.
Specifically, Apple Music will be included in the Tim Young &
Music, Tim Mobile & Music and Tim Giga & Music packages and
TimVision clients will have 30% off an Apple TV+ subscription
for the first six months.
"The agreement with Apple has strategic importance," said TIM
CEO Pietro Labriola.
"The agreement adds a further piece to the construction of our
'customer platform' strategy, which is already producing
excellent results and which offers new development prospects for
the group in the consumer sector".
