Brescia prosecutors on Monday placed
10 doctors under investigation in the death of a baby being
delivered to an Eastern European woman at Desenzano hospital at
the end of January, a tragedy also marked by the suicide of
another doctor three days after the incident.
The doctor did not leave a note explaining why he had decided to
throw himself off a bridge at Trento.
The entire remaining operating team in the infant's death have
now been placed under investigation to establish possible
negligent manslaughter,
