The lifeless bodies of Cristian Mauro
and Paolo Bellazzi, the two hikers missing since Saturday on Mt
Grignetta north of Milan, have been identified, rescuers said
Monday.
They were found about halfway up the Caimi gully on the mountain
on the outskirts of Lecco, where the search had been
concentrated in the last few hours, following the detection of
the signal from one of their cell phones in that area.
