A goal by Artem Dovbyk 62 minutes into a match against Cagliari at Rome's Olimpico gave Roma their sixth consecutive victory on the 29th day of the Serie A championship Sunday.
Roma's 1-0 victory over Cagliari earned them 49 points, two behind the sixth place occupied by city rivals Lazio who suffered a resounding 0-5 defeat at Bologna on Sunday.
Meanwhile Cagliari are currently fourth to last in the standings with 26 points, four more than Empoli who are in relegation zone.
