Bologna beat Lazio 5-0 in a
resounding home victory that provisionally placed them in fourth
position in the Serie A standings in a crucial match in the race
for Europe.
Vincenzo Italiano's side temporarily leapfrogged Juventus ahead
of the Bianconeri's match at Fiorentina later on Sunday.
Bologna are set to end the weekend with a fifth place on 53
points or they could retain the fourth position in the Serie A
table if Juventus are unable to beat Fiorentina.
Lazio ended up sixth in the standings with 51 points after the
Rossoblu's fourth consecutive victory as well as their sixth
running home win.
