The Italian Ambassador to Vilnius, Emanuele de Maigret, met today in Vilnius with the Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament, Saulius Skvernelis.
During the bilateral meeting, de Maigret and Skvernelis discussed the main international policy dossiers, including support for Ukraine, the strengthening of the Atlantic Alliance's eastern flank and the fight against illegal immigration.
Bilateral cooperation in the fields of security, defence, information technology and life sciences was also addressed.
