Large turnout of students at the Italian Cultural Institute in Oslo for the presentation of the activities of the Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute and career opportunities at the ministry and in other international contexts.
The event was opened with an introductory speech by the Italian Ambassador in Oslo, Stefano Nicoletti, and the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Raffaella Giampaola. Embassy Counsellor Luca Fraticelli then presented the opportunities to enter the diplomatic and other administrative careers at the ministry and the Italian diplomatic network.
The event was a networking opportunity for the almost 50 Italian students present, who showed interest in the world of diplomacy, international careers and the MAECI MIUR-CRUI internship itself.
"It gave me great pleasure," said Nicoletti, "to meet so many Italian students attending various universities in Oslo on the subjects of economics and finance, political and historical sciences, law, and statistical and social sciences who may be interested in pursuing the path of diplomacy or other international careers tomorrow. We tried to provide them with ample information on the various career opportunities offered by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also by international organisations. Finally, we have invited them to participate in the Day of Italian Research in the World that we will be celebrating in Oslo on 20 May, at the Oslo-MET University'.
