The Italian ambassador to Accra, Laura Ranalli, visited the offices of Eni Ghana at the invitation of the managing director, Maurizio Pinna. The ambassador had productive meetings with the management and Italian staff.
Ghana Eni is present in the exploration sector, oil and gas production, refining and chemicals. Eni's exploration activities in Ghana are concentrated off the country's coast. In addition, to enhance local resources, the company has launched initiatives in micro-entrepreneurship training, access to water resources, education and health protection, including the distribution of improved cookers, to ensure the population has access to more efficient energy sources and significantly reduce the consumption of wood or charcoal in cooking.
