The Italian Ambassador to Jerevan, Alessandro Ferranti, was received by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Narek Mkrtchyan. During the meeting, topics related to disability, social security, and digitalisation were discussed, also focusing on future opportunities.
Minister Mkrtchyan stressed the importance of finalising the Memorandum of Cooperation negotiated with the Italian counterparts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and the Ministry of Disability, in order to relaunch bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Ferranti, in turn, highlighted the common will to expand cooperation between the two countries also in the field of labour and social protection, expressing his willingness to contribute to the further development of relations between Italy and Armenia.
