On the occasion of the 8th "Italian Research in the World" day, Riccardo Valentini, professor at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, together with the Ipcc (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), for his research on climate change, gave a lectio magistralis in the Principality of Monaco. In the Lecture Hall of Monaco's Oceanographic Museum, Valentini spoke on 'Global Climate Change and Regional Impacts: the Challenges of Mitigation and Adaptation'. He was addressed by Prince Albert of Monaco, the Italian Ambassador to Monaco, Manuela Ruosi, and representatives of the Italian community, among others.
