Champions Inter thrashed Lecce 4-0
away on Sunday to continue their hot form and remain on the
heels of Serie A leaders Napoli.
Goals by Davide Frattesi, Lautaro Martinez, Denzel Dumfries and
Mehdi Taremi gave Simone Inzaghi's side a win that puts them
within three points of Napoli with a game in hand.
Lazio suffered a setback in their bid to finish in the top four
and qualify for the Champions League when they lost 2-1 at home
to Fiorentina at Rome's Stadio Olimpico.
The visitors took command of the clash thanks to early goals by
Yacine Adli and Lucas Beltran.
Lazio pulled one back in stoppage time with Adam Marusic and saw
a shot by Pedro hit the post just before the final whistle.
Lazio are fourth with 39 points, 14 behind Napoli and two ahead
of fifth-placed Juventus.
Napoli beat Juventus 2-1 on Saturday.
Fiorentina are sixth with 36 points.
