Serie A leaders Napoli on Sunday
night failed to consolidate their position at the helm of the
standings after being held to a 1-1 draw by Udinese.
Scott McTominay scored in the first half but Jurgen Ekkelenkamp
equalised with Antonio Conte's side missing the chance to extend
their lead ahead of Inter Milan.
Simone Inzaghi's side lost 3-0 to Fiorentina earlier last week
in a match originally halted in December after the Florentine
team's midfielder Edoardo Bove suffered a heart attack.
Reigning champions Inter are set to play against Fiorentina
again on Monday on the 24th day of Serie A.
Third-placed Atalanta are currently five points behind Napoli
after beating Verona 5-0 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the other Serie A match on Sunday night between Lecce
and Bologna ended with a goalless draw with Bologna reaching AC
Milan in the standings on 38 points and Lecce keeping out of
relegation zone by four points.
