Federica Brignone won a gold medal at
the World Ski Championships in the giant slalom in Saalbach on
Thursday.
The 34-year-old from Milan, Italy's winningest World Cup female
skier, finished the race ahead of New Zealand's Alice Robinson
and US skier Paula Moltzan.
Brignone clinched a winning aggregate time of 2min 22.71sec,
ending 0.90 seconds ahead of Robinson.
