Insurance giant Generali on Thursday
posted record net profit of 3.8 billion euro in 2024, up 5.4% on
the previous year.
Generali said that in 2024 it recorded gross premiums of 95.2
billion (+14.9%), with strong growth in the life (+19.2%) and
non-life (+7.7%) segments, a record operating result of 7.3
billion (+8.2%), driven by all business segments, with a strong
contribution from asset & wealth management.
Normalized net profit grows to 3.8 billion (+5.4%), the highest
in the history of the group.
Net profit is almost unchanged at 3.7 billion (-0.6%).
The proposed dividend is 1.43 euros
(+11.7%), confirming the focus on the growth of shareholder
remuneration of the plan concluded in 2024.
