Justice reform can't be put off,
Premier Giorgia Meloni told the Senate Tuesday amid a major
pushback by magistrates against the plan to separate their
career paths so they can no longer switch between being
prosecutors and judges.
"The justice reform, from my point of view, is
non-postponable," she said in her reply to a debate on her
briefing on his week's European Council meeting.
Meloni recalled that "these are expected and requested reforms"
and addressing the Democratic Party senator, Daniele Manca,
added: "We have the reform agenda in our program. If we had
wanted to implement your program, we would have run with you".
