Italian fuels group Eni and the
Argentinian oil company YPF on Monday signed a memorandum of
understanding for cooperation on the development of the
'Argentina LNG' project for the transportation, liquefaction and
subsequent export of gas produced from the Patagonian Vaca
Muerta field, the second largest unconventional reserve in the
world.
The deal was announced in a note from YPF issued at the end of a
meeting in Milan between Eni's CEO, Claudio Descalzi, and the
president and CEO of the Argentine company, Horacio Marín.
