The Milan bourse closed 2.88% up
Monday as global stocks were boosted by the pause in US tariffs
on electronic goods.
The FTSE-Mib index rose to 35,007 points.
Among the big gainers were TIM, more than 5% up, and banking
stocks like UniCredit and MPS, on Commerzbank and Mediobanca
takeover developments.
London closed 2.1% up, Paris 2.6% up, Frankfurt 2.7% up and
Amsterdam and Madrid both 2.4% up after US President Donald
Trump paused tariffs on smartphones and some types of computers.
In New York the Dow Jones was 0.36% up, the Nasdaq 0.42% up and
the S&P 500 0.51% up.
