On the occasion of Made in Italy Day, the Italian Embassy in Seoul, in collaboration with Ice and Cosmetica Italia, presents 'Italian Beauty Days in Korea', an initiative that promotes the creativity, innovation and quality of the Italian cosmetics sector. The event takes place at High Street Italia, the permanent showroom of Made in Italy in Seoul, a reference point for the promotion of Italian excellence in South Korea. Fourteen Italian companies will meet more than 150 Korean operators, confirming Italy's role as the sixth largest supplier of cosmetics in South Korea, with a 5.5% market share and constantly growing exports, testifying to Korean consumers' appreciation for the quality, research and style of Made in Italy.
The event is the occasion for a special appointment dedicated to media and influencers opened by Ambassador Emilia Gatto, and offers a unique showcase on the latest trends and values that make Made in Italy a global reference point.
South Korea is confirmed as one of the top ten world markets in the beauty sector, with a constantly growing demand and a strong focus on high quality and innovative products. In 2024, Korean imports of cosmetics continued to register a positive trend, offering ample opportunities to international companies in the sector, particularly Italian companies, which stand out for their excellence and creativity.
