Napoli won 3-1 at Verona Saturday to
ease some of the pressure on coach Rudi Garcia following home
defeats to Fiorentina and Real Madrid.
The goals came from Italy right winger Matteo Politano in the
27t minute and then a brace from Georgia left winger Khvicha
Kvaratskhelia in the 43rd and 55th.
Serbia left winger Darko Lazović got on back for Verona in the
60th minute.
The win temporarily raises Napoli into joint fourth in Serie A
on 17 points, four behind leaders AC Milan who f ace
third-placed Juventus at the San Siro Sunday night.
Verona is left in 16th place, on eight points, three above 17th
placed Udinese.
