Inter Milan restored their four-point
lead at the top of Serie A by beating Lecce 2-0 at San Siro on
Saturday thanks to goals by Yann Bissek and Nicolo Barella.
Inter have 44 points from 17 games, while second-placed Juventus
have 40 after a 2-1 win at Frosinone, which had briefly brought
them within a point of the leaders.
AC Milan are seven points further back after drawing 2-2 at
bottom side Salernitana on Friday.
Surprise-package Bologna remain in fourth place and in
contention for Champions League qualification after a 1-0 home
win over eighth-placed Atalanta.
AS Roma beat Napoli 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Saturday's big
match to leapfrog the Serie A champions and move up to sixth
place thanks to goals by Lorenzo Pellegrini and Romelu Lukaku.
Napoli finished the game in nine after winger Matteo Politano
got a straight red card for lashing out following a foul and
striker Victor Osimhen picked up a second yellow.
Eighth-placed Napoli now trail the leaders by 17 points.
