Former Fiorentina boss Vincenzo
Italiano arrived at Bologna's training base on Wednesday to
settle the final details of an agreement to become the coach of
the team that will be rubbing shoulders with European soccer
royalty in the Champions League next season, sources said.
The club is expected to announce the 46-year-old is their new
coach later on Wednesday, the sources said.
Italiano had been at Fiorentina for three years and led the
Viola to finals of the Conference League in the season that has
just ended and the previous term and the Italian Cup in the
2022-23 campaign - losing all three.
He is set to replace Thiago Motta, who did not renew his

Motta, 41, has been strongly linked to Juventus after the Turin
