Italy took silver medal in the
synchronised swimming women's team technical final at the World
Aquatics Championships in Japan on Tuesday.
The result came on the heels of the second place taken by team
members Linda Cerruti and Lucrezia Ruggiero in the women's
technical duet.
The team also comprising Marta Iacoacci, Sofia Mastroianni,
Enrica Piccoli, Isotta Sportelli, Giulia Vernice and Francesca
Zunino totalled 274.5155 points, behind Spain in first place
with 281.6893 points but ahead of the United States with
273.7396 points.
