Italy's Federica Brignone move closer
to this season's overall World Cup title by coming third in the
women's Super-G in La Thuile on Thursday.
As a result she has extended her lead over her rival Lara Gut
Behrami of Switzerland, who was fourth after the first 20
competitors had completed their runs, to 332 points.
German Emma Aicher was top at the time of writing while Italy's
Sofia Goggia was second.
Another Super-G is scheduled on Friday at La Thuile's Berthod
piste before the finals four races of the season Beaver Creek,
United States, with 400 points up for grabs.
