Europe's problem in the energy field
is not due to Donald Trump but to Europe itself, Eni CEO Claudio
Descalzi said Tuesday.
On the energy and energy prices front, said the head of the
Italian energy giant, "Europe's problem is certainly not Trump.
Europe's problems are inherent in Europe. When there is a crisis
it is already too late: you cannot change a trajectory of Europe
in which, in the last twenty years, one-dimensional choices have
been made".
As an economic power, he observed at a QN event, "in 2000 Europe
was equal to the United States, now China has overtaken us.
Europe has a very important problem, we have no energy: I don't
know how Europe can react, duties weigh but Europe's problems
are intrinsic".
