A woman was found
dead on Friday in her home in the town of Piedimonte San
Germano, in the Lazio province of Frosinone to the south of
Rome, after the alarm was sounded when her seven-year-old
daughter made her own way to school.
"I came on my own because mummy fell and didn't get up," the
girl reportedly told her teacher.
The school called the child's home and, when it got no reply, it
contacted the girl's father, a Stellantis factory worker, who
found his wife dead after rushing home.
