The Ambassador of Italy in Bratislava, Gianclemente De Felice met the Secretary of State for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic. During the meeting, ways were explored to consolidate the bilateral partnership, both at institutional and business level, also by seizing the opportunities offered by the sector fairs being organised in Slovakia, starting with Agrokomplex, an annual event that will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. New opportunities offered in the field of research in the agricultural and agri-food sector were also reviewed, involving Italian and Slovakian universities. Greater collaboration in the European sphere was also hoped for in order to exploit every possible synergy in the field of agricultural policies. Finally, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for Bratislava's support for Italy's aspirations to include the Mediterranean diet among UNESCO's intangible heritage.
