President Gabriele Gravina said Thursday was a "historic day" as
he helped unveil the first Panini soccer album for Italian women
players.

be collected in 48 pages with the cover representing the ten
professional teams with one player for each team.
"The Federation cares about the entire movement and the
development of the women's one, we have done it with large
investments and with a project aimed at establishing a principle
of civilization in our country. But we must thank Panini because
the movement also needs a path of recognition that occurs
through projects like this", added Gravina.
The president of the Women's Serie A Division, Federica
Cappelletti, was also enthusiastic: "After 64 editions, finally
having one dedicated to female footballers is a great emotion.
This is proof that women's football is growing a lot and is
becoming increasingly important".

delegation for the Italian national team, described the album's
presentation as an "epochal" event.

have this satisfaction too. For them, it is a deserved
recognition".
Also present was Alex Bertani, director of the Italian market
for Panini, who said he was "proud" of an album that is "the
result of great teamwork between all the parties involved".
Cappelletti and Gravina then symbolically glued the first
sticker in the history of the collection inside the album which
also contains pages dedicated to Serie B and the national team,
