US President Donald Trump told
Premier Giorgia Meloni at the White House Thursday that he
welcomed an EU peace mission to Ukraine and Italy would decide
whether to take part in it.
"Peace missions are always welcome",Trump said tabout the
possibility of a European peace mission in Ukraine.
When asked whether Italy should also participate, the president
replied "it will be Italy's decision".
